Me: OK, so heres the problem - your modem hasnt been reset from the last owner, so its still got their wifi network name on it. Thats why youre not seeing the network listed on the bottom of the modem. So were going to change that to something easier for you to remember. Customer: Oh, good. Thank you, young man. Me: Youre very welcome, maam. Now, if you could please, I need you to type in your new network name. It can be anything you like, so long as its at least 4 characters long. Customer: Can it be my dogs name? Me: Yes, maam, it can be anything you like. Customer: Well... what if I just put my last name instead? Me: Sounds good. Anything you like, just type it in there. Customer: Can I use numbers? Me: Anything you like, maam. Customer: Does it have to have numbers? Me: No, maam. However you want to put it in is fine. Customer: OK, Im not going to use numbers. Me: Alright. Customer: Well, Ill put one number. Me: OK. Customer: OK, is that a good one? Me: So long as youll recognize it when you see it, yes, maam, thats fine. Now were going to change your password, and that needs to be a minimum of 8 characters, and it can be anything you like. Customer: Can it be my dogs name?
