Me and Colins 2 year wedding anniversary is coming up in two days and I cant help but think about how much things have changed over the years. I got to creepin pretty far back and found some pictures. What I wouldnt give to see him as that 19 year old kid living in his uncles basement, when the toughest responsibility I had was straightening my hair 3 times a day and making cheer leading pins. Colin, remember all the times we would drive around with no place to go, sit and judge lil Waynes new albums on your iPod with one ear bud in my ear and one in yours, when I passed my first car in your red truck, sitting in the floor by ourselves watching YouTube videos and drinking moonshine, having chili night at my moms, you driving me around all Halloween weekend in my stupid bunny costume, dedicating songs to each other, you helping me face the shelves when I worked at countrymart, giving each other relationship advice on all the wrong ones, you leaving laffy taffy in my car after school, when we convinced all the drunk people at your uncle mikes birthday party that I killed a leopard with a bow to make my scarf, you talking me out of fist fights, road trips to the airport, using the iPhone fan app to fall asleep, making fun of my old pink tracker. Somewhere between all of this things we found love within our friendship. It wasnt always happy times.. We went through times we thought we hated each other, not talking, and deleting each others numbers 100 times but we still ended up together. If only things could be as easy as they used to be even if we thought things were so difficult back then. I love where we are now and that we have gotten to grow and mature together but i just wish we could go back and replay some old times bc now we know how important all those little things were. Life is a lot more hectic now but you were always that one person who I could see and all the stress in my life would disappear. It has always just been me and you in this whole world when we are together. Shoot sometimes it has been me and you against the whole world it feels like. Im forever grateful that I got to fall in love with my best friend
