Me and my sister, Catherine Lawton, are putting our crafty skills to support SPANA(Society for the Protection of Animals Abroad) by joining in with their Big Knit for Vet Kit project. I will be crocheting Clarance the Camel and my sister will be knitting Hattie the Horse, to raise money to help SPANA vets to treat hardworking animals around the world. Once complete, our animals will head off to one of SPANAs animal clubs, in either Ethiopia or Kenya, to help educate children on animal welfare. We are aiming to raise £40 by the end of November - which is when we aim to complete our animals. We will be posting updates on our animals here on Facebook and on our Just Giving Page (see the link below), where you can also sponsor us and donate to our fundraising.
