Me talking to Mrs. Hannam (eighth grade counselor) in ISS: Her: Did you really think that was a good idea Me: *silent* Her: Okay, I just give up on you. Goodbye. *leaves* Me talking to Mrs. Bauer (the T.A.G. teacher) about 30 minutes later: Her: You need to be good so we can listen to music again! We cant do that if youre in ISS! Me: You dont even like my music lol Her: Well its fun to see you so excited about sharing something youre interested in. Me: *sigh* Mrs. Hannam said she gives up on me. Her: Well I dont know what she is thinking, but trust me, Ill never give up on you. Me and Mrs. Hannam: Her: Why arent you doing homework? Me: I dont have any. Her: Well, read a book. Me: I dont have a book .-. Her: Well just find something to do. *leaves* Me and Mrs. Bauer: Her: I heard you need something to do, come and talk to me for a minute. Me: *goes with her* Her: *talks to me for about 15 minutes on how not to do the things that get me into trouble* Her: Well I should let you go back to the ISS room. You like reading right? Ill go get you a book that I love and I think youll like it too. Her: *leaves and comes back five minutes later with a book* (I finished it and it was so good it made me cry lol) Me and Mrs. Hannam: Her: Here is some homework I got from your teachers. Do it. Me: I dont know how to do this worksheet. Her: Ask Mr. Whitesitt or just figure it out or something Im busy. Mrs. Bauer comes in a little bit later: Her: I see you found some homework. Me: Yeah, but Im too stupid to do it. Her: Youre not stupid. Me: Lol just take one look at my report card. Her: Report cards dont justify how intelligent you are. Me: Well ask my teachers. Her: Not all teachers see what I see and I see that you are one of the most intelligent students at this school. Her: Here, Ill help you. Her: *goes out and asks my teacher what Im supposed to do exactly and comes back and shows me* They will seriously hire anyone to be counselors. Arent counselors supposed to help you? Not yell at you for stuff. I know Mrs. Bauer probably didnt really mean everything she said, but it made me feel a whole lot better than what Mrs. Hannam said to me. How can people be so clueless? This is one of the reasons I hate IMS. Almost none of the teachers TRY to help you. Mrs. Bauer, youre doing it RIGHT. Lol rant over. (If you consider this a rant)
