MeP: #sciatica, day 21 of recovery. Alora! Got my legs hammered, both sides now, as its mainly been one side. Sch...quealing like pig, I couldnt hear my stomach gurgle.....sorry Dr! Refining my camp walking, & now Im really feeling stretches, and able to get a greater range of movement in my hip-ball-&-socket when on the empty leg when cat-stancing. I feel that there is a natural balance in my legs now, instead of a ka-donck with my right leg and hip-drag. And the solution is - ALL YOU YIN STYLE BAGUALIST should know this: - tuck the tail bone under: to be specific, I gotta slant my tail out, hence camp - swinging out the hips! I could also get up from lying down, from sitting etc, without the tension build up at the protrusion area nor hamstring. What Ive realised is: - Ive got great external muscles development, otherwise I wouldnt be able to some of the moves I can with the martial practice, plus jumping. - weak internal, fine muscles, or whatever we wanna call them! Seeing that leaning over a coffee table trigger it this time. So, I asked if my leg was in bad condition, considering all the AShi- fibrous tender bits, ropey lengths in my upper legs: - my are fine, considering, - best legs hes tended to are ballerinas: one would think that they would have AShi but it was so spongy. All to do with the amount of stretches they do, and the springiness of their dancing. This has also lead me to take on Parkour for more dynamic leg action, plus completely review the YSB leg techniques DVD as from what I understand so far, theyre about lengthening. - in regards to the levels of physical development, the acupuncturists experience and understanding of Shaolin training was this order: bones, ligaments, tendons & sinews, then muscles. We think this understanding might not be as prevalent now. But has inspired me to re-evaluate my training, as I have a better understanding of my body, whereby this injury has highlighted So much of my system. Right, gotta access when I can go swimming, then diving - all about the tumble turns & somersaults, now that I got my ear fluid balanced.
