Meagan was diagnosed with Chronic Heraditary Pancreatitis in 2010. In 2011 she underwent a Total Pancreatectomy with Auto Islet Cell Transplantation and immediately after she had a bowel obstruction surgically corrected. Over the past three years Meagan has been hospitalized over 30 times for malnutrition, sepsis, uncontrolled pain, and brittle diabetes. Meagan is now eagerly awaiting a life saving pancreatic transplant. Although Meagan never feels well she continues to work as a nanny and attend Southern Connecticut State University in hopes to one day become either an APRN or a physician. Meagan hopes to eventually have a succsessfull medical career so she can continue to spread awareness for diabetes and organ donation. As you can imagine Meagans medical and tuition bills are constantly adding up, any donations to help get Meagan through this trying time would be greatly appreciated! gofundme/MeagansTranspalnt
