Mechanical Design Engineer, OH Work requires originality and judgment in the independent evaluation, selection, and substantial adaptation and modification of standard techniques procedures, and criteria. Experienced RELATED TO VALVES, GEARS OR PUMPS, or mechanical moving parts would provide a valuable knowledge and experience base to work on the design of our aerospace products. Typical Duties and Responsibilities: Plans, schedules, and coordinates detailed phases of the engineering work in part of a major project or in a total project of moderate scope. Devises new approaches to problems encountered. Performs work that involves conventional engineering practice, but includes a variety of complex features such as conflicting design requirements, unsuitability of standard materials, and difficult coordination requirements. Work requires a broad knowledge of precedents in the specialty area and a good knowledge of principles and practices of related specialties. Responsibility for the Direction of Others: May supervise a few Engineers or Technicians on routine work. PREFERRED EDUCATION: BSME PREFERRED EXPERIENCE: Five to ten (5 – 10) year’s product design experience.
