Media Release - FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE Picture Perfect Art Exhibition Renowned local artist Andy Baker from Bald Art will be the artist in residence at this year’s 32nd annual Trinity Lutheran College Art & Craft Exhibition on Friday 1 to Sunday 3 August. Andy Baker has spent more than 14 years creating his own art style and he’s excited to share his love of art with the community. “Art is a pleasure that everyone should experience,” Mr Baker said. Mr Baker said to be inspired is to inspire others and that’s what he plans to do with his interactive artwork at this year’s exhibition. “The Gold Coast has so many wonderful and creative people, being inspired and getting inspired by others is something that means a lot to me as an artist and as a husband and father,” Mr Baker said. “I will have a piece (at the exhibition) that visitors will be able to join in on”. Mr Baker’s ultimate goal in exhibiting his artwork and sharing his love of art is to evoke emotions in the audience. “Depending on the piece, my art will give a different feeling or reaction. If it makes you laugh, makes you think, raises an eyebrow or just looks great on your wall, I am doing my job”. Over 2,000 people are expected to attend the event in what is described to be ‘bigger, brighter, bolder’ than the previous 32 years.
