Moloney Community/Media Relations Manager, 352-797-3609 Re: Deputies Respond to Overnight Shooting Date: December 19, 2014 On 12-18-14 at approximately 11:20 p.m., Hernando County deputies received a 9-1-1 call regarding a shooting at 5081 December Lane in Brooksville. Upon arrival, deputies located a female who had been shot. The female was treated on scene by Hernando County Fire/Rescue and then flown by helicopter to a local trauma center. She is listed in critical condition. At this time, detectives have a person of interest in custody. The investigation is still active at this time; there is no additional information available.
