***Media Release*** Lebanon Fire and Rescue were dispatched to 38 Lower Guinea Rd last night (12/1/13) around 5:21p.m for a reported building fire. Upon arrival crews located a two story wood frame residential building with smoke and fire showing. A 2nd Alarm was immediately requested. Lebanon crews were able to quickly extinguish the fire and contain it to the room where the fire started. Fast thinking by one of the occupants helped keep the fire from spreading to other areas of the home when they closed the door prior to evacuating. Crews remained on-scene until 7:30p.m. Assisting agencies: Lebanon Rescue, Rochester Fire, Milton Fire, Berwick Fire, Acton Fire, Alfred Fire, South Berwick Fire, and Somersworth Fire. The fire is under investigation by the Maine Fire Marshals Office.
