Media thrives on advertisements to make ends meet. The biggest adverts come from government entities and a few blue chips organizations in the private sector. CORD has lost the media war and propaganda to jubilee. Anybody watching news today or newspapers will tell that the media seems against CORD and even the response to ababu tantrums was not done by Luo mps alone. The media was used to confine it as a luo matter. Now here is my advise to CORD for free. You control 24 counties,pls be friendly to your governors. 1. You need to categorically denounce this county Development Board thing. 2. You need to ask Ababu to tell you when he will /with his committee finalise audit reports for 2011/2012 and 2012/2013.(jubilee is sighting it as source of less resources to counties). 3.empower local media in your friendly counties by giving them adverts instead of mainstream media that is using your resources to further alternative agenda. This can only happen if you share a vision with your governors. 4. Increase voting population in your strongholds from less than 30% to 45%(Western ,nyanza and eastern).central and kalenjin Rift Valley do 45%&40% respectively 5. Be careful about attacking Ababu, he is tactically hitting you and the media deliberately picks luo mps and subsequently you upset Joho who funded his camp and eventually you lose Coast support. 6. Be tolerant to divergent views however unpalatable. Intolerance robs you of moral authority, however wrong your critics may be. Just ensure they do not win the propaganda war with lies. 7. Dont approach the next election without control of a print and electronic media house.(not borrowed). With friendly counties you can sustain such stations with county advert budgets. 8. Support governors to deliver on their mandates. Do not undermine any of them. 9.
