Medical Industrial Complex is not interested in health, wellness and accuracy. It has undermined what the Canadian Healthcare system was meant to be, it has taken many lives prematurely, caused unnecessary suffering and will continue to if measures are not taken to restrict it. It too is like an invasive disease, difficult to detect because it blends in with the host, difficult to remove because it entwines itself into the host. This is about neoliberal governance: capitalistic hospital priorities, pharmaceutical focused care and overburdening staff to compensate for systemic shotcomings. This is beyond sad. Beyond one doctor.
