Medical students of Kampala International University KIU Western campus under their umbrella organization the Federation of African Medical Students’ Association FAMSA have joined governments in the African Union to celebrate the Day of African Child with call upon government of Uganda to spearhead for improving the plight of the vulnerable children more especially children with disabilities. The Coordinator of Education and Research at the Federation of African Medical Students’ Association KIU Mr. Mubiru Francis scheduled to graduate with Bachelor of Medical Laboratory of KIU in November 2013, said its very important for concerned stakeholders to facilitate programs for raising Awareness about the value of children with disabilities as valuable future citizens of Africa.
