Meditate with Power! Strength through Jesus! 2 Corinthians 12:10 “Therefore I take pleasure in infirmities, in reproaches, in needs, in persecutions, in distresses, for Christ’s sake. For when I am weak, then I am strong.” Meditate on God’s Word! Paul knew that Jesus suffered for us, to pay for our sins and when that payment was made on the cross, God raised Him from the dead and gave Him full authority over death, sin and the devil. “Since you seek a proof of Christ speaking in me, who is not weak toward you, but mighty in you. 4 For though He was crucified in weakness, yet He lives by the power of God. For we also are weak in Him, but we shall live with Him by the power of God toward you.” 2 Corinthians 13:3-4 Paul knew that it was a spiritual battle that we are facing every day that requires the strength and resources of God; “Seeing then that we have a great High Priest who has passed through the heavens, Jesus the Son of God, let us hold fast our confession. 15 For we do not have a High Priest who cannot sympathize with our weaknesses, but was in all points tempted as we are, yet without sin. 16 Let us therefore come boldly to the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy and find grace to help in time of need.” Hebrews 4:14-16 May we today acknowledge our weakness and rely on the strength of the Father, Son and the Holy Spirit to give us strength through the emotional, physical and spiritual suffering that we will go through in our lives; “Not that I speak in regard to need, for I have learned in whatever state I am, to be content: 12 I know how to be abased, and I know how to abound. Everywhere and in all things I have learned both to be full and to be hungry, both to abound and to suffer need. 13 I can do all things through Christ[b] who strengthens me.” Philippians 4:11-13 Yes, Jesus paid our debt in full and when He cried “It is finished!” John 19:30 and the age of grace began as payment for our sins and for the sins of the world. Thank you Jesus!
