Meditation Point:You Need to Go Through Something. I Remember There Was a Time that I did Not Know God. There Was a Time I Believed in the Theory of Evolution(I Wanted to Be a Scientist When I Grew Up). There Was a Time When I Believed in Man and Not God. There Was a Time That I Had So Much Confidence in My Intelligence That I Did Not Need God or Really Anybody to Guide Me. I Had All The Answers to Lifes Questions. Some of Us Think That Way When We Were Between 16-25. That Was Too Much Pride and Confidence in Myself. Enter My Thorn in the Flesh. 2 Corinthians 12:6-7 Paul States For even if I wish to boast, I will not be a fool, for I would be telling the truth, but I refrain from this so that no one may regard me beyond what he sees in me or what he hears from me, 7 even because of the extraordinary character of the revelations. Therefore, so that I would not become arrogant, a thorn in the flesh was given to me, a messenger of Satan to trouble me—so that I would not become arrogant. What Paul Was Saying Here is Because He Was a Disciple of Christ, Because He Was an Evangelist, Because He Had the Holy Ghost, Because He Started Churches that He Could Have Been Boastful But to keep Him From Becoming Boastful, to Keep Him From Becoming Prideful The Lord Used the Messenger of Satan to Remind Paul To Focus on the Lord and to Not Think Too Highly of Himself. It Was a Reminder of Who Was In Charge, a Reminder of Who Had the Power, A Reminder of Who Was Serving Who. I Have Went Through Many Storms that Keep Me Grounded and Remind Me That I Need The Lord and That My Strength Comes From The Lord, That Any Intelligence, Knowledge or Wisdom Comes From the Lord. Our Going Through Storms Not Only Gives Us a Testimony, it Also Reminds Us That We Need to Lean On The Lord and That We Cant Defeat the Enemy by Ourselves. Have a God Blessed Day Enjoy.
