Meditation gives you an opportunity to come to know your invisible - TopicsExpress

Meditation gives you an opportunity to come to know your invisible self. It allows you to empty yourself of the endless hyperactivity of your mind, and to attain calmness. It teaches you to be peaceful, to remove stress, to receive answers where confusion previously reigned Dr. Wayne Early in recovery, I learned the importance of balance. After identifying the components of my program, I knew what I needed to do to maintain sobriety. I continually monitored my life balance with my sponsor, and made adjustments as needed to maintain balance in my life. Throughout the past few weeks, I have faced difficult challenges personally and professionally. I did not talk about them with anyone other than the committee in my head, and got out of my normal routines. I focused on the challenges day and night…and they grew bigger and bigger. I felt completely overwhelmed; my mind was spinning. I knew it was time to slow down… Through a period of meditation and slowing down, God revealed to me that my life was out of balance. Routine creates balance in recovery – is a message I give to others. Today, I am applying it to myself. I am grateful for the tools of recovery! Carol F.
