Their approach to Jazz offers a smooth blend of vocals and instrumentals which features Rhonda (keys and vocals) and Butch (bass and vocals). They truly compliment one another, which you can hear in their compositions on their latest cd, Night Sketches. When you listen to their music you will find that it is refreshing, mellow, yet upbeat and exciting. The recording journey of Night Sketches began at Conway Recording Studios, Los Angeles, California and bought them back to Baltimore to Wrightway, Clean Cuts and Secret Sound studios where two years later, they completed it. What better way to record a great cd than to call on longtime friends, Gary Hudgins, Bennie Cowan, Greg Boyer, Greg Thomas, Robert Wawa Legrand, Victor Williams and Dennis Chambers. To add to the mix, they included their producer son Joshua(Ammo) Coleman and Charles Wilson on drums . To sweeten everything, the later compositions included the horn section of Greg Boyer, Brent Birckhead and Brad Clements.
