Meet Elizabeth (Betty) Whitley. She was attacked and stabbed repeatedly by a man she was trying to help this winter. The short story is that she sustained injuries that leave her unable to work and has massive hospital bills. The prosecuting attorney is going after him for attempted robbery instead of attempted murder because he will likely serve more time that way. It looks like she will only be reimburse $150 of her medical bills.(She will be on oxygen for life.)
