Meet Juan: an adorable 10yr old pittie boy weighing approximately 70lbs. Juan was pulled from the local animal control shelter. Juan was surrendered by his owner. Juan was portrayed to be a past fighting dog. He was kept on a log chain outside for years. He has scarring that covers his body and battle cropped ears. Juan is a total lover. Clearly, he would never be good for fighting because he is too concerned with belly rubs and treats. As if he wasnt put through hell already, Juan was heart worm positive. After a few months on treatment he is 100% free of those pesky things! Juan is a super special dog. You would think after all the abuse and unspeakable things that he has experienced because of humans he would hate us. Juan only wants to be around people. He wants to sit beside you, roll over to show you his fat belly while you rub it. When Juan sees us, he moos and coos for attention. He sincerely only wants to love and be shown love. Juan will go to a home with no other animals (cats or dogs). Due to his past, he is unsettled by confrontation with dogs and we do not want Juan put in a situation like that ever again. Please be warned: if you come to meet Juan, he will steal your heart. You will fall in love. Juan has a way about him that Ive seen in very few dogs. He is like a wise old man. He has seen some stuff but doesnt let it hinder his lust for life and love. Juan deserves a happy home filled with love and understanding. Please consider opening your heart and home to Juan.
