Meet Kay, one of our gardeners at Antelope Garden. Although Kay has gardened throughout her life, this is her first year with Community Crops. In her tidy and well cared for space, she is growing peas, beans, cucumbers, cabbage, potatoes, carrots and more. A fence is helping keep out rabbits and other critters. Kays favorite things about gardening with Crops are having the space to grow her own food and the challenge of getting to know new growing conditions: figuring out how to work with the soil, sunlight, etc. of a new garden space.
