Meet Kristy A beautiful and single mother of 3 children who is struggling. We crossed paths on 9/21/14(Saturday) and when we saw her standing there crying, there was no doubt that we had to help her. We were on our way home from Wal-Mart as we were returning an item for a refund. We were denied the refund because of that type of product is non refundable. We anticipated getting a cash refund of the amount listed on the receipt. We were down to less than bare necessities and really needed some groceries. We were kinda in a panic and worried. We had no idea what to do next. Thats when we drove up to the light and saw Kristy. She was different than all the other down on their luck individuals that weve met. She was crying and holding a sign. At that very moment, me, Maxx and momma Noemi realized that all though our situation was dire, Kristy situation was desperate. We instantly thanked God that HE has blessed us and there is always someone worse off than us. We pulled over and debated for a second how to help her. We scrounged in the car to find anything we could have given her that she may benefit from. We decided that we could live off rice and beans for awhile. We agreed that she needed our last 10 dollars more than we did. We approached her with cold water, money, support, prayers, and open arms. As we spoke to her, we would have never guessed that our sincere act of kindness would pay off immediately. Another woman from the Pet Mobile had also helped her. That was amazing!!! It was so heart warming to see there are still good Samaritans out there who still care. Humanity was restored even if it is only for a minute. It was just one of those absolutely beautiful moments you dont want to forget. We walked away humbled by this whole experience and was such a great lesson that God has taught us and we walked away better people with havingProverbs 19:17 ESV / 193 helpful votes Whoever is generous to the poor lends to the Lord, and he will repay him for his deed. met Kristy.
