Meet Levi! Hi, my name is Levy, but it might as well be Romeo, because I am being told that I am a heartthrob. One look into my amber eyes, and you will be smitten. My personality speaks for itself. I am a typical Weimaraner - I like being active and take long walks or runs. I am very smart and an escapist. You need to watch me closely or I will run off. That is because I am a hunting dog and smells and movement, such as a cat in the backyard, will require my entire focus to investigate. I am a loving companion. I adore my owner and make a good watch dog. I am protective and my bark is fierce. I havent quite figured out the property lines, so to be sure I will bark at everyone coming anywhere close to the house. Once my owner lets them in though, I will be the perfect greeting committee and wag my tail without jumping up on them. I need to be completely honest with you - even I have flaws. I cannot be trusted when it comes to food. I have been busted several times surfing the kitchen counter and I am embarrassed to admit, I have been called stealing food. I once ate a half loaf of bread and unfortunately couldnt hide the plastic wrapper, but you have to give me credit for not eating the plastic! I know better than that and in my own defense, I still need to put on a few pounds to get to my ideal weight, so I am just trying to help! I am still young and although approaching 3, I am pretty much a big, goofy puppy. I am house trained and crate trained and I would benefit from some obedience training, because I am so strong and eager, so walking on the leash is still a challenge for me. I like other dogs and will approach all of them in anticipation to play. If they bark at me or growl, though, I will be bark right back. My most favorite thing to do (apart from eating) is to be close to my human companion. They call Weimaraners velcro dogs for a reason. I love cuddling and snuggling up to you and will always be right by your side. Im a beautiful blue; great with people, and enjoy an active lifestyle. I do great with female dogs, but choose to pick my male friends. After a rough start, Im now healthy, up to date with all vaccines, and feel lucky to be ready for a second chance and find my new forever home. I am looking for that special someone to adopt me and give me a forever home.
