Meet Sussy! This fun one year old tabby arrived at the Adoption - TopicsExpress

Meet Sussy! This fun one year old tabby arrived at the Adoption Center in the fall and we’re hoping she will find her ‘furever’ home soon. Outgoing and social, Sussy is eager to receive lots of head and chin scratches, and will give lots of leg rubs and head butts to her human friends in return! Sussy seems to get along well with her kitty friends here at the Adoption Center and plays well with them but can also entertain herself with toy mice and jingle bell balls. She enjoys playtime but doesn’t always realize how sharp her claws can be (ow!) and will need to have them trimmed regularly in her ‘purrrmanent’ home. Ever the independent lady, Sussy’s foster family reported that she enjoys interacting with her human companions on her terms only and prefers not to be picked up or cuddled with when she isn’t in the mood. However, she has been known to sneak into a lap or two, so we think she may warm up with a bit of time and patience in her ‘furever’ home! Fun, playful, and curious, Sussy would make a great family pet for a family with older children who understand the need to give her some space when she is showing signs of overstimulation. Stop by and meet her today, and see if she is the ‘purrrfect’ fit for your household!
