Meet Tala, the soon to be newest addition to the Peace and Paws program. (Yes Twinkle has already shared her opinion…….. sigh…... another white dog Twink, sorry). Tala was dumped at the shelter by a Husky breeder for her genetic defect but our sister rescue in TN Snooty Giggles Dog Rescue wanted to give this girl a shot and asked if we had space in our program for her since they are packed to the gills. We told her, heck yes we do and they scooped that baby up stat. Sweet as sugar and lover of all things great and small, this 1 year old Husky is on her way to relief thanks to SGDR. SGDR has her scheduled for surgery on Monday to have her eyes removed and relieve all the pressure and pain she is currently experiencing. She will be completely blind but this handicapable girl can live a normal life like any other dog. A seeing eye dog companion would be awesome for her but we would consider a home without another dog if the match is right. It will be a few weeks before she makes it to NH but if you want to fill out an application for her, just email peaceandpaws29@yahoo and we will send you one. We are a NH based rescue so if you are far far far far away please look into your local shelters. So many great dogs out there.
