Meet the dynamic duo, Merlin Francis and Avantika Heblikar of Rustic Motifs. Merlin and Avantika have known each other for 7 years now. After a brief stint as a journalist, Merlin moved to PR and marketing before venturing into Entrepreneurship. Avantika worked in PR too and thats how the two enterprising young ladies met. In 2012 the pair started Rustic Motifs. Rustic Motifs is a brand, which works with rural artisans across India to create contemporary home decor products that are eco friendly, handmade and help with sustainable development of the artisans who create these pieces. They are also into styling and decorating living spaces, mostly commercial, and currently, they are designing interiors for restaurants in South India.
