Meeting Notice and Agenda! Good stuff this Friday! We hope you can join us this Friday. We have a guest speaker, Dr. Paula Ray, a neuropsychologist with Madonna Rehabilitation Hospital in Lincoln. Dr. Ray has a very interesting presentation about the stresses of crying in newborns and infants – a particularly risky time for child maltreatment. It’s a prevention approach called the “Period of Purple Crying”. She’s also interested in learning about our Coalition in hopes of something similar developing in the Lincoln community. Dr. Ray is part of the “Project Safe Start” grant for early childhood mental health with the drug courts of Lancaster, Douglas, and Sarpy Counties.
