Meeting my new best friend for endless cappuccinos in the morning. Writer/Producer Wendy Kout has created unique characters in a variety of mediums, spanning film, theatre, and television. And she and husband Dennis are in Philly for a month looking for a home for her newest play: Naked In Encino. Dorfman in Love, Kout’s most recently penned film was produced by Leonard Hill Films and stars Elliott Gould, Sara Rue and Haaz Sleiman. The film won “Best Feature” at the Hollywood International Film Festival, and was also chosen by Cinequest Film Festival, USA Film Festival, Waterfront Film Festival, Naples International Film Festival to name but a few. Wendy has also written and developed film projects for Barbra Streisand, John Hughes, Universal, Columbia, Tristar and Disney. Naked in Encino, had its World Premiere November 2012, in Denver, Colorado. In TV, Kout created and was the Executive Producer of the cult ABC show, Anything But Love, staring Jamie Lee Curtis and Richard Lewis. Kout has written and developed projects for Paul Reiser, Jane Fonda, Robin Williams, ABC, CBS, NBC and Lifetime Television.
