Meguid Leads Home Hopes Into Main Draw At El Gouna #PSAWorldTour World No.28 Omar Abdel Meguid led a four-strong contingent of home hopes through qualification and into the main draw of the 2014 @ElGounaSquashInternational which gets underway on Sunday April 13. Meguid, the number two seed in qualification, was forced to fight back from two games down to overcome compatriot Mohamed Abouelghar in a marathon X minute battle and is joined in the main draw by fellow Egyptians Mazen Hesham Ga Sabry, Mohd Ali Anwar Reda and Fares Mohamed Dessouki. The quartet join a field dominated by Egyptian hopes, with World No.3 Mohamed Elshorbagy and World No.4 Ramy Ashour, the 2012 champion, leading the charge. Elsewhere in qualification, veteran Malaysian Ong Beng Hee, the number one seed in qualification, saw off England’s Eddie Charlton to book his place in the first round alongside Frenchman Gregoire Marche, Hong Kong’s Max Lee and Finland’s Henrik Mustonen.
