Mehriban Nasib, Mehriban, I am sure you heard about the latest gossip that is coming out from Brooklyn, that I took $150 thousand dollars from the government of Azerbaijan when I returned the so called apartment they gave me back in 2006 and I never took another apartment they recently offered. To spread false accusations about me and ASA was always the main reason why many organizations were established, you know this better than anyone. I know who is behind all of this. I can not speak out loud because it will damage the President of Azerbaijan. because these rumors starts from people who are appointed by him. How can I try to damage the head of a country and at the same time try to raise the image of that county. As the head of an organization carries the name of Azerbaijan, when I speak with US representatives, how can I not speak supportive of Azerbaijans President. but even with this they spread rumors that I work against the President of Azerbaijan here in NY. I want everyone to understand, I am an American I do not want anything in return from Azerbaijan nor Azerbaijans President for anything I do. My President is Barrack Obama, I want to stress that I never voted for President Obama but he is my President and I will never speak against him nor do anything against the interests of United States of America. perhaps I should say, I wanted one thing, to get ASAs center repair so our community will be better formed but for the last 10 years, every year they wanted plans from us and they promised, nothing happened. I am positive this is all from jelousy, I wish our people stop gossiping, if you want to know anything about me just ask me, I will tell you the truth. this is how I was raised. ASA is ...one of a kind organization, we have members who are strong and supportive not just Azerbaijanis but Americans, Turkish, Jewish, our main goal is to raise Azerbaijans name in the US.
