Mein-Butu community leaders seek release of 8 detainees - LEADERS of Mein-Butu community, Delta State, have appealed to President Goodluck Jonathan, Chief E. K. Clark and HRM, Augustine Ebikeme of Oporomor kingdom to prevail on Chief Government Ekpemupolo, A.K.A. Tompolo, to release Chief Michael Johnny, Chief Mosco Johnny and six others from detention. The six others are Bullet Otuaro, Tony Ikpessan, Messo German, Itare Christmas, Imole Jonny and Alex Governor. Representatives of the community, Zinc Bouudle, Mike Gomeromo, Andabafa Nama, Denco Moni and Tobo Fubri, said the dispute between Tompolo and them was a family matter and should be settled as such. They said they were making moves to broker peace on the dispute which led to the arrest and detention.
