Mel and I finally gave in and watched the first episode of Walking - TopicsExpress

Mel and I finally gave in and watched the first episode of Walking Dead last night. Afterwards, my insomnia kicked into overdrive, making me ask questions like: Why did the cops relax their guard before the vehicle and assailants were secured? That was stupid. How long of a hospital stay would that shot have warranted? It generally takes flowers about 2 weeks to go all stiff like that, so he was probably in there about that long, right? So, when did the attack happen? The longest a person can go without water is 10 days, but with a gunshot wound and blood loss...? Speaking of which, why didnt the cops blood drain into his IV bag? Would it drain a person dry if left on and not changed for 10 days? For five days? Hospitals have backup generators too, just like the police station. How many days would it have taken to kill the power, and then the backup generator? WHY OH WHY wasnt the cop smart enough to listen to the horse? Horses have a great sense of smell and that whole animal survival instinct. Listen to them. Hes a copy ... youd think hed know that. Do zombies ever die of starvation? Yes, I did look up some of these questions. I also brought up to Mel and our conversation went something like this: Mel: Its for entertainment. Me: Well, I like my entertainment to be a little more realistic. Mel: ... Its a zombie show. Me: ... ... Conclusion: I will not ever sleep if I watch these shows. Oh and his ability to be so reasonable and objective about such things really annoys me. Its a good thing hes hot. #curseofawriter #thestruggleisreal
