Melanie Grace Stuursma asked Hello, I have two almost 6 month Great Danes. Luke is completely potty trained. Clyde is a work in progress. We are crate training both with no accidents in the crate and we also have our neighbor let them out and feed them during the day. However, today Clyde was on the couch with no warning just peed on the couch. We are trying to train him w the bella on the door as the other dane has learned this. Could this possibly be a territorial thing and is only happening because he is not neutered yet. We bought a new do bed and he peed on it right away also as if he is trying to tell Luke hey this is mine. He does not have a UTI and I know this because we actually just finished the medicine for that. We praise when he goes outside and use sharp tones of something like this happens in the house. Maybe we are just spoiled with the other dane that he learned so fast? Any suggestions are appreciated. Will this problem get better after being neutered?
