Melchizedek’s Weekly Message ~ August 17 – 24 received by Julie Miller August 17, 2014 Sometimes even while mingling with prosperity and success, what many dear souls find themselves feeling is discontent, feeling and knowing there’s an aspect of their lives unfulfilled and this aspect dear ones has become a symptom of your fallen nature of your ordinary, common way of living, a way of life that is not always peaceful and light-giving. Turbulent emotions, unorganized way of dealing with both inner and outer selves is like trying to remove dust. As long as you allow yourself to see with a narrowed view, your eyes will feel as if they’re coated in dust. The discontent you are feeling, could be something embedded with your spouse, your job, or something else. When you begin connecting the dots, learning the root of your discontent through and by being truthful and honest with what you discover, then the dust will begin to fall from your eyes. The moment you realize just how deep the root of your unhappiness and discontent is in your mind, then you begin formulating ways of bringing in changes, but those changes that you are wishing so hard for will not always be enough because what is needed dear ones is an impactful and fundamental transformation of your whole self. It then becomes natural for a man or woman to wish for transformation of their personality, to be able to emerge new from the ashes of their old self…this dear ones is a persistent pull of your own divine heart. Attaining transformation is one of the oldest spiritual quests among human culture, it offers life-affirming clarity, it brings peace to both heart and mind, and tranquility to the rest of your body. Attaining spiritual transformation is not a quest for the weak of heart or mind. It is a quest that requires one to be honest with themselves, to drop all façades. Spiritual transformation is not a quest that will bring a person to success by applying focus for a day or two, it is a quest that will continue to move in many directions for a person’s entire life. Redeeming yourself, seeking God for salvation, and asking for deliverance is not the only paths necessary to reach transformation. There will be many challenges along the way that are there to test you, to reshape you and to deliver you closer and closer to your authentic self and to reconnect you to the Heart of God. Your deep need to bring fulfillment to your life is not to be only found within the walls of a temple or church. It is possible dear ones to see your home, your workplace, even your classroom as a place that offers fulfillment. To see in this light, your perception needs to be changed. All around you, the grass that grows beneath your feet, the trees, the flowers, the birds, insects and the animals that share your global backyard are there for you to appreciate, to recognize your connectedness and to see that nature’s simplistic ways of giving and receiving also offer fulfillment. The peace found in the flourishing nature that is around you can be breathed in, and allowed to filter calm in each of your steps. And those steps of calmness will go wherever you go as long as you continue to permit it. As long as you insist and continue to create complexity out of simplicity, and chaos out of harmony, self-transformation will not be reached. It is understood that each dear soul that lives here, upon this life-giving planet have shortcomings; none are perfect. The purpose of the quest of self-transformation is to bring purity into your actions, to bring calm into your mind and truth into wisdom; such a journey also helps one to develop compassion and concern for others and the rest of the world. A person tainted with greed, hate, and selfishness has a view that is distorted. Such ways of being that are fickle and often impulsive, and not mindful eventually brings harm for themselves and for others. To bring change to the world dear ones, first you must bring changes to your whole self; changes that you are willing to commit to. A person that is serious about transforming will go through a gradual process that includes retraining of the mind and to become fully free from previous egoic notions, actions and ways of being. Spiritual self-transformation effects many aspects of your way of life, including the way you think. As one begins their journey of self-transformation, they must learn to abandon from their mind all that is harmful, unkind and unwholesome for the development and creation of thoughts and ways of living and being that are pure, good and wholesome. Part of reaching self-transformation dear ones is to understand the importance of relinquishing all and any attempts to create a sense of firm personal identity. Become acquainted with your non-self. Every time you use “i” or “mine” you are establishing personal identity, and projecting a clinging-like personality and when one clings or attaches to any object, even a person emotionally, suffering is normally the end result. You are encouraged to liberate yourself from further suffering, by ending the need to use “i” or “mine”, use “ours”, or “we”. Elevate yourself along the path to transform your personality by letting go of the need to cling, to attach to things, people and other egoic tendencies, by doing so, your heart and steps will lead you to self-affirmation. We urge you to comprehend each step of your journey before progressing to the next. The practices you learn along the way that help bring peace and harmony into all the many aspects of your life are not going to be the only means of help to refine and heal your inner and outer selves. By living through and from your heart, allowing your true self to emerge and to stay will help lead you towards a renewed affirmation for your normal life and how your own life fits with the rest of the world. We know not every person is meant to live the lives as Gandhi or Mother Teresa, but you have been given ways to help improve the world around you that are within your means. Just because your life is not permanent, does not mean it cannot be fulfilling and rewarding during the time you have each and every day. The quest to transform yourself sometimes make you feel blind and barren. When you are able to learn the root to why you feel this way and understand that both feelings offer the potential for enlightenment, then you can begin to bring them both into harmony, blend and balance through mindful practice. Where there are gaps you can make bridges that will help end suffering and offer fruitful outcomes. Attaining self-transformation does not mean you need to find a cave or some secular place deep in the forest or jungle. Transformation of your Self and personality can be done where you live now. Changing how you see your total self and the rest of the world begins when you bring changes to how you perceive and how you act, it makes no difference what your surroundings are. Your mind is your mind wherever you go until you reconcile with what is there and make time and room to improve, to better yourself to the point you are successfully able to bring changes to the world by bringing changes to yourself. The path of transformation always has to have a beginning and an end. You will create uplifting goals to reach, that will help move you along the direction your heart is guiding you toward: Goals that are revealing and necessary for the development of the transformation of your personality. Understand dear ones as you move towards accomplishing any goal you have set for yourself, give yourself room for sudden changes. You will have challenges to bear, challenges that encourage a deeper relinquishing of all emotional attachment, to become totally one with yourself and with the nature of God that is within all things and people. Remember spiritual self-transformation is a gradual process, you will master it if it is something you wish with all your heart to attain and you are willing to become more morally disciplined and mentally pure, in addition you are keen to develop deep and wise insight that if fueled by the love that is unconditional and formed from your divine heart. In time, with great effort and greater love, you will be liberated from the bondage of egoic ways and bask in the domain of freedom that is no longer restricted.
