Melissa shared--I am looking for some input. My son is a bi-lateral amputee. He is getting ready to go on his school trip to Washington, D.C. They are going to be walking Atleast 5 miles a day. My son cant even make it around the zoo. He is almost 15. And is very hard headed!!! I need some amputees to help me convince him that a wheelchair is not a horrible thing!! I am scared that he will push himself to hard and end up with sores and a heat rash on his legs and I wont be there to help. Any suggestions greatly appreciated!!!
