Melissa shares... I became an Ambassador at the very end of October, mainly for the weight loss. I had tried everything, including LapBand surgery and never could lose the weight I wanted to lose in a healthy way. By March, I had lost over 20 pounds and was able to buy my first size 12 jeans since high school! This was a GREAT feeling. I had amazing energy and my blood pressure was better than it had been in years. I completely believed in Plexus and the power of our products and then something happened that made me even more of a believer. In 2009, I was diagnosed with PCOS (Polycystic Ovarian Syndrome) and was told by my doctor that even though the ovulation tests I had purchased online were showing that I was ovulating each month, his monthly scientific blood tests were showing that I was in fact not ovulating and would not get pregnant without medical intervention. My husband and I decided to do one round of Clomid in July 2009 and those five tiny pills produced our beautiful boy/girl twins. They were born 10 weeks early and spent two months in the NICU to grow, but they were and continue to be healthy, thriving blessings. At each of my annual doctor visits over the past 4 years, my doctor has reiterated the fact that if we desired to expand our family, we would need to take Clomid again. We knew that with Clomid we would have the chance of having multiples again, which scared us due to our months in the NICU. After many discussions and much prayer, we decided that God had already blessed us with two miracles and our family was complete. On March 24th, after 5 months on Plexus, I discovered that I was pregnant with our 3rd child at age 36!!! Surprised and shocked do not even begin to describe what we felt that day and every day since. At my first doctor’s appointment, I asked my doctor how this was possible. He explained that the “vitamin regimen” I had been on had helped regulate my cycle and my 20+ pound weight loss was also a great factor. Please understand that I am not saying that Plexus cures infertility or PCOS, I am simply sharing my story of how it completely changed my life forever in more ways than one!!!
