Mellie has been with me (us) for 6 days. I found her on the road near my house. She was obviously abandoned. Shes been washed and has been eating, drinking and going normally. She was only 6 pounds when she got here and is at 8 pounds now. Shes definitely blind - or nearly blind. She has energy but doesnt move around much because (I think) shes afraid of running into things. We tried a walk today. It went OK. She was able to walk around the court. She wanted to stop a lot but did better when I stayed close in front of her. Keep her in your thoughts and prayers. Shes SUCH a good dog. The other hairy beasts are doing great!
