Member question: Im currently 27w2d and at my 23 week ultrasound & yesterday ultrasound it showed fluid in the back of the neck & larger than average Nuchal folds. They said that usually indicates DS. Im only 21 so I was a little surprised. Since I said no to the testing for down syndrome they havent done any tests. He said it could be nothing or it could be DS. My son isnt very active either. But his heart looked fine in ultrasound and he doesnt seem to be missing the nasal bone. So how many moms had a DS child based on large nuchal folds ? & where there any complications during birth ?
