Members served by our Sheridan and Somerset substations, most of whom live in Perry and Muskingum counties, experienced 2 outages today. The first, which began about 8:30 a.m. and lasted a little more than 2 hours, was caused by an equipment problem experienced by our transmission supplier. The supplier took temporary measures to restore power to our substations as quickly as possible. The second outage, which began about 12:50 p.m. and lasted about 5 minutes, allowed the supplier to transfer load back to normal after permanent repairs were made. We appreciate the patience of our members while we worked with the transmission suppler to correct their problem
