Membertou First Nation Job Posting Employment Opportunity Job Title: Project Implementation Coordinator Department: Communications / Marketing Reports To: Manager of Marketing and Media Relations Term Position: January 2015 to March 2016 Position Scope: Under the authority of the Manager of Marketing and Media Relations, the Project Implementation Coordinator will be required to assist the Manager in all aspects of Marketing plans and project implementation. This position requires the individual to have knowledge of Membertou Business’, local area demographics, creativity skills, event planning and implementation skills, organization skills and the ability to multi task. Duties and Responsibilities: • Product development research for Membertou’s corporate entities. • Media booking and quoting: Newspaper, Radio, Television and Magazine. • Assist Manager with creative concepts and promotional campaigns. • Assist Graphic Designer on projects. • Update website when required. • Direct and manage photography and video shoots. • Assist in research, writing and editing of strategic marketing plans. • Lead / assist in implementation of marketing plans. • Assist in tourism marketing and advertising planning and implementation. • To be a team player with the ability to work independently. Qualifications: • Bachelor’s degree in Business or Public Relations with a concentration in Marketing or a Business Diploma with a concentration in Marketing. • Minimum of 2 years experience in Marketing. • Must be able to use web site content management systems. • Must have excellent time management, interpersonal communication and organization skills. • Preference given to Aboriginal peoples in accordance with the Aboriginal Employment Preferences Policy of the Canadian Human Rights Commission.
