Everyone runs; one wins. Run to win. All good athletes train hard. They do it for a gold medal that tarnishes and fades. You’re after one that’s gold eternally. There are only 9 more days left to go, we cant give up now. We have all been running our own individual races between us and the enemy as we head along the straight and narrow. We must run to win. We cant afford to lose. We have sacrificed so much to get to where we are to let it be for nought. No, this cant happen. We have come a long way from where we started-the hunger pangs, the enemy lying to us telling us we couldnt do this, the dizziness, the mood swings-but look where we are now! Look whos shamed now! But, just as the Lord told the 70 when they came back, dont rejoice that the spirits are subjected unto you but that your name is written in heaven (Luke 10:20), so too must we delay the celebration until we have truly completed our race. We have to stay focused because this is where the fight intensifies. This is where we must push even harder. This where we must run with all of our might after God and hold onto Him. We cant afford to let Him go now. Just remember that when the going gets tough, the tough get going. Go on and finish your race in Jesus Name!
