…Memorabilia for a Purpose… Hi Everyone! As we all wait with eager anticipation for that piece of pigskin to hit the turf we’d like to ask for your help in raising some money for a very worthy cause. We are selling raffle tickets from now until 4:00pm on 8/31/13 for a chance to win the following pieces of Clemson memorabilia: -An autographed set of customized cornhole boards featuring Tajh Boyd and Sammy Watkins -An autographed football featuring Clemson legend and Ring of Honor Member Danny Ford -An autographed football featuring signatures of Tajh Boyd and Sammy Watkins -And last but not least, an autographed, life-sized poster of Clemson great C.J. Spiller All proceeds raised will be matched and donated to the Gordon Owino Fund. Gordon, the 12 month old son of two Clemson graduates, was born with three life threatening heart birth defects known as Tetralogy of Fallot, Pulmonary Atresia, and Major Aorto Pulmonary Collateral Arteries. The family has consulted with a copious amount of professionals in the field and has been advised to take Gordon to Palo Alto, CA for treatment. Tomorrow Gordon will undergo a very serious 15 hour open heart surgery in which the doctors will be forced to temporarily stop his heart. Needless to say the expenses associated with something such as this can compile extremely quickly. Here at Clemson we are a family, and as iron sharpens iron so does family help family. We kindly ask that you all please take a moment to pray for baby Gordon, his family, and the doctors associated with his very delicate surgery and that you consider either buying a raffle ticket to help a great cause or donate to either of the funds that have been set up in honor of this precious young tiger. Thank you for your time and please find links below for more information: YouCaring/BG CaringBridge.org/visit/GordonOwino Sincerely, All of us on Cemetery Hill
