Memorial Day Turning Summer-Like SPRINGFIELD, Mass. (WGGB) – It’s a gray start with a few showers out there but don’t worry! Today is going to turn out to be very nice. The clouds will give way to sunshine later this morning as it become breezy and warm! Temperatures this afternoon will reach into the low to mid-80′s! A warm front is moving through kicking off the showers but as this front lifts through the showers will move out and the sun will come out! A westerly flow will help to warm us up and dry us out! If you’re head off to a morning parade or service you will likely encounter lots of clouds at first but then the sun will poke through. The sunshine and warming temperatures will make for great grilling conditions this afternoon and evening. As the temps reach into the 80′s the dew points and humidity levels should stay fairly low. As we head back to work and school on Tuesday a backdoor cold front will move in from eastern Mass. This means sunshine will give way to some afternoon cloudiness along with the likely hood of showers and a few storms developing. Have a great Memorial Day! Dan Brown
