Memorial Weekend Fishing Tips - With the nice sunshine and warm days we have been having, look to the shallows for hot bass and sunfish action. The North Shore of the lake should be best as this warms up first. Look for water inlets to the lakes for all species of fish at this time also. We have had a ton of rain and it has been washing food into the lakes. The food draws baitfish which in turn attracts larger fish. Inlets could be a creek, drainage ditch, or simply a culvert under the road draining a slough or ravine. The creek action has been slow, however with all of this sunshine that could change overnight. Give them a try as well.
