Men: Be the head, take the lead. Lead by example in every situation, not in mere words. We should be the thermostat not the thermometer. In other words, we should set the atmosphere and not change to conform to the atmosphere. When our wives meet us with negative emotions or situations, we do not give in or be moved by it. Smith Wigglesworth would say, Im not moved by what I see, Im not moved by what I hear, Im not moved by what I feel... Im only moved by the word of God. This is how we should be as men of God in marriage. We should not allow our wives to move us like Eve did Adam. We are men of God and we trust the word of God, so when our wives are emotional wrecks or angry because of a situation we calm them with our trust in the word of God.
