Men United team: Last week we took our petition to NICE urging them to drop a restriction on the drug enzalutamide, and NICE changed their decision. Now we need your voice again to help fix a bad decision on another life-extending drug that can improve men’s quality of life. NICE’s latest draft decision has rejected the use of the drug abiraterone for men who havent yet had chemotherapy. We know from men who’ve had it that this drug is a vital tool that can delay the need for men to go through chemotherapy and the often debilitating side effects and incessant hospital trips it can mean.
