Men dont go to church like theyre suppose to. Instead, the Black churches are filled with women because they suffer from the lack of having a real man of God at home. She needs to imagine a connection to a real man.. So she seeks out the master himself and turn to Jesus who was a man for comfort. Shes frustrated... life has dealt her a bad set of cards. Her father wasnt around in her life.. Men cheating on her.. kids out of wedlock.. searching for love, attention, and acceptance in all the wrong places.. drama at the workplace... shes demoralize... shes lost faith.. she has no one to love her or her children... so she turns to the preacher who tells her Jesus is her rod Jesus is love Jesus is your comforter Jesus can do this and that for you.. etc.. Why not? She needs a man to do something for her.. she admires that powerful and forgiving side of Jesus.. The power that Black men DO NOT possess.. ;+)
