Mendocino County is still open for business! The Lodge Lightning Complex fire is currently burning in a remote area of Mendocino County. This is not affecting travel to the county by visitors. The fire is burning in heavy timber in steep, rugged terrain. The Mendocino County Air Quality Management District has issued an air quality advisory (co.mendocino.ca.us/aqmd/) due to smoke and degraded air quality in the interior of the county.
