Not always by the handful, of course. We add them to salads for an awesome crunch. We mix them in oatmeal or greek yogurt for added texture. We blend them in our super shakes for a nutty flavor. High in healthy fats, moderate in protein, and packed with important minerals, raw nuts are a great addition to almost everyones diet. Because each nut offers its own unique vitamin and mineral profile, we like to buy and eat them mixed. Although my daughter is known to steal the pistachios, while my son prefers the cashews.
