Mental illness is taboo because of backwardness and ignorance. Next time, dont tell someone Get over it. Help them get some help. Depression and suicide have claimed some of our best and brightest. Robin Williams is a tragic example, but hardly alone. Suicide claims countless members of our armed forces. Depression affects your friends, your family, your mailman, you Congressman. Take mental health seriously and treat it with respect. Turn that frown upside down attitude *kills people.* Take care of the sick. Dont mock them.
