Mentally tired but here goes...Flabbergasted on the feedback from last nights Get Down. My FB and text has been awash with craziness. I think its safe to say we witnessed another historic gig on this here weird little island. Chali 2na commanded that stage like no other. Massive shouts to Eva Lazarus, Asylum Seekas, Limey Banton and DJ Four-Q aka Andrew Woodward for setting the scene perfectly. Further doths of the Get Down cap have to go to Chas Cole and Guernsey Centrestage for amazing sound and L.H.Events for lighting. All the folk that lent me stuff and helped in anyway - thanks! Out to The Fermain Tavern for allowing us to showcase what we believe in. I really feel that we are on to something special here, I saw lots of fresh faces loving it. All I ask is to please keep supporting these events in any small way you can, even if you cant make it for whatever reason....every person you get to join The Get Down page and The Get Down Events Page, like a photo, share an event etc really can make a difference. Also dont just come to an event once every blue moon, put your music on loud at home, get into it, come see brilliant DJs play the same music at venues like The Townhouse. I wanna do a whole Get Down festival next year amongst a pile of other fun things already in the diary! #thinkbig #thegetdown
